If I keep most of my movies on my computer, what is the use of the 160gig version?

Can you control what is stored on the computer and what is stored on the appleTV?

I am really tempted to get one now what we have rentals in canada!
 
You can sync your music and play music without having to turn on your Mac.

you can move movies from your computer to ATV and thus free up disk space.
