Streaming App for iPhone/iPod Touch from iTunes to the device over WiFi

I've looked through the forums but have not found an answer.

I am looking for an app that will stream content from iTunes to my iPod touch, in a manner exactly how iTunes can stream to AppleTV without having to keep the content on the AppleTV.

Is there such an app, is the functionality already built-in (if it is I can't find it)?

Simplify Media has a beta app that does precisely this but it's only available for jailbroken phones at the moment. According to a recent blog post, they are working on a release through the app store soon. It's a great tool and I can't wait for it to hit the store.

Holy Cow, thanks dss, after reading the blog (http://www.simplifymedia.com/blog/) for Simplify Media (http://www.simplifymedia.com/iphone.html) it appears that the app has already been submitted to Apple for review for placement on the App Store.

Wahoo, maybe the wait will not be long at all!!!
