Any opinions on Scrabble?

How is the AI? I had it for my Treo and it was pretty good.

The AI here is very good. Very polished. Only played one game, though.

HOWEVER... As far as I saw, there is no "championship" mode, which means, if you get a word wrong, you don't lose your turn. that's a somewhat major turn off for me, but it's still fun, and it may be (who knows) addressed in a later revision.

how about the interface, gameplay, overall feel etc. on the iphone ? anyone ?

Interface is fine, very easy to place words.

I have a few problems -- the major one being, is that it uses the expurgated dictionary (ie, no bad words) -- which is not what is used in tournament in club play.

There is no option to play a game with challenges.

The computer played a phony on me today -- "PL" -- I had no recourse to challenge. Playing phonies is a part of the game, but not if you can't call your opponent on it.

... but for ten bucks.... we'll see if the playing of a phony was an isolated bug or a regular thing with the AI.
