remote when using timemachine (N)

well my MBA uses my N from timemachine

i have a G setup for my iphone in the house.. lynksys.

iphone cant recognize N so i have it on G

laptop is faster on N

how can i make my iphone work with remote while laptop is using N?

i was thinking maybe create a new wireless in the network options.. but would that work?

are the 2 wireless on the same subnet?
if not change your subnet masks to 255.255.0.0 instead of 255.255.255.0

how would i do that?

the internet goes from router to timemachine, then linksys is connected into the timemachine so the IP is the same.. how would i change a subnet?

i connected to N and it says 255.255.255.0 and the linksys says 255.255.255.0 as well..
