This is a great track and REM are a great band. They have a fantastic Best Of collection out, I'm not sure if its is available on iTMS.

This song I think is REM at its best. Micheal Stipe's vocals are strong and hit the right inflections to make you really think about the idea of losing your faith in anything. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was about ten, and the haunting vocals and creepy lyrics just stuck with me. Bad songs do that, but great songs make you really think about the inherent message.

Great songwriting, great vocals make an awesome REM track worth adding to your collection.
