I went ahead and bought an iphone 3g after owning the 1st gen due to work giving us a discount towards the phone...
However Im returning it tom....
1. I live in Dallas/Fort Worth area with 3G coverage everywhere and its strong...At my house I get 1 bar and sometimes no 3G signal...IM not going to pay for something I cant even get at home...
2. Screen is bad yellow...Pics look oversat and I do photography.
3. Apps and moving from screen to screen is alot more sluggish than my 1st gen phone....I click on the same button on both phone and 1st gen winning everytime...Often I will press an app and it will w8 to go...1st gen is instant...
I like the feel of the 3g phone and GPS is cool but you cant orient the map N to S either...LAME
Im going to stick with the old one for now like I org planned
