iPod touch What About Purchased Apps. on IPT if I go iPhone?

I've I buy a bunch of applications for my IPT can they be transferred or used at the same time on a future purchase of an iPhone?
 
It's stored in your iTunes library which means you can sync everything to both devices at the same time AKA you can sync to the iPhone if you need.
