Hey guys, bought a Iphone 3G yesturday in switzerland. they are pretty nice and can be bought with prepaied cards... what if i want to use another sim card? is there any tool out there yet, or will there be one soon?

Was it from a swisscom shop?

How many chf was it ? Did you have to show any ID when buying the iphone?

I believe Dev team have announced an unlock for the 2.0 iphone.

You should check out iPhone Dev Teams Blog (http://blog.iphone-dev.org/). Today the released a video of an unlocked iphone 2.0. My guess is that it will be available next week.

it was 520 CHF - 330€ :)
yeah had to show them my id (passport).... but wasnt a big deal at all, just went in said i want one and they handed me one out :)

dunno what kinf of passport....

620 for the 16 gb one... guess these are sold out for the next 2 months... they had only about 8 (white + black) 16 gb ones yesturday...

lucky i got my 8gb one i wanted to have (student...^^)
