View Full Version : an error occured while backing up this ipod (-5000)

Anybody had this happen? It says I can continue with the update but it will result in the loss of all contents on the ipod. Will this erase my itunes library as well?

I had this issue twice. The fix is to eject the iPod, disconnect it from the computer, and reconnect it.

If all else fails, restore the iPod.
