Back in 2003 I went to the Bay Area and fell in love with Street Sheets. I bought every back issue I could find from some friendly homeless folks. Since Seattle, I've been into reading Real Change. Anyone else into these newspapers?

I buy a Streetwise here in Chicago every now and then. It's not a great newspaper, all in all, but I like the idea (no idea whether or not it works). I do always ask to see a badge--and the folks from whom I've bought seem to appreciate that.

In Dallas I think they call it Street Zine. Costs about a buck so if I'm ever in town I'll buy it off a guy.
