lost songs after 2.0 restore

I got 2.0... Which has given me enough trouble. But even worse, after it restored I lost every song I had purchased on my touch since the last time I synced it. The songs are in my purchase history but the check for purchases comes up clean...any ideas?

Unless you had those songs backed up on your computer then they are gone for good...the restore completely wiped the iPod clean
