which apps or functionality are affected by disabling push

I disabled push because I'm not on any type of business email, just gmail. Is there anything else I might be missing out on with push disabled?

gmail doesnt have push, just fetch.

but the other things, i dont think so.

Nope just for exchange and mobile me - trust me with it disabled you'll get hours more battery time
