The added storage and features of MobileMe will obviously make it a better deal for consumers and thus, make it much easier to sell.
However, I'm now afraid that I won't be able to take advantage of the deal that (which I'm assuming is fairly well known to anyone who is friends with someone who works at an Apple Retail store) employees have the ability to discount .Mac up to 30% without any authorization from a manager. My friends have told me that this is pretty standard since .Mac is pretty hard to sell, and it's one of the things that the store keeps track of for each employee. So if they find someone who is willing to spend $70 on .Mac, they'll jump at the chance!
Now my question... are employees still doing this? or will they be much more resistant now that MobileMe is so much more appealing?
