Recommendations to buy vmware and iWork

Hi,

I need to buy both vmware and iWork.

Is amazon the cheapest place to buy it now?
Do I have to wait for it to be shipped/arrive at my house or I can do a immediate download of it?

(just bought a iMac 24" today!)

Congrats on the new iMac!

Amazon is consistently the cheapest place to get VMware - and there is usually a rebate putting it <$40 there. The downside is that they don't have the download it option.

Thanks, loving it so far.

I'm actually a windows programmer, but I have heard allot of 'us' have moved over to Mac's since you can vmware for windows-only work.

I use parallels out of habit, but it removes any need to have a windows machine laying around 😀.
