iMac and USB access, I guess some kind of a USB hub will do?

Hi,

Is a USB Hub a must-have for iMac users? (i.e. everyone gets one?)

I really hate swining the monitor around just to put a usb key in there!

I'd say it depends on how often you need to access the USB ports.

In your case, it seems a usb hub would make things easier.

its wierd that my USB key (rally2) doesn't work!

I mean its suppose to be a universal size isn't it? sheesh!

By it doesn't work, d you mean it doesn't fit? Or it's not mounting on your desktop?

it doesn't fit into the slot (I didn't push it too hard as I am scared to damage it, my Windows mouse fit in just fine in the same slot, so its obviously my USB key?)

That is strange. I have not come across a USB device that hasn't fit in either a Mac or PC USB port.
