Because I'm not talking about the idisk or the push service. I'm just talking strictly the email account. Why do you have to pay for something so simple as email? You don't have to pay for Hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc., so why should we have to pay for this?

Then why not put a "Hi, I'm a mac video ad" somewhere on the compose mail screen lol

Apparently with .mac you could just have an email account. However Apple have stopped doing that. I did read this on one of the apple support pages, can't remember which one to post a link
