I'm pretty sure that's the regular Cinema Display with the clear plastic casing. I think it's just shadows and lack of detail messing with your imagination. I wish they were aluminum displays, though!

I agree, it appears to be the same one. It is the shadow that gives the appearance of something new. Just need to be patient till January 5th for the Steve note.
