iMac-Strange noise

Please, I hope that someone can help me. My 1 week old "17FP makes sort of a creaking that lasts for appr. 2 seconds every 10 min. Exactly 10 min. Its really starting to make my monkey crazy. It doesn't really sound like anything that bad but the interval tells me that the system is obviously doing something. Does anyone know what? How could I find out if anyone out there doesn't know?

Mine does the same thing. I've never been concerned enough to check it out. I've had mine since the Summer. My noise is not as frequent, more like once every few hours.
