Removing Exchange password policies?

Has anyone here fiddled with their exchange activesync policies? I enforced a password to see how it worked on my iPhone and then removed the policies from use. However my iPhone still has a password requirement. Perhaps in 24 hours the policy will fall off, but oof.

Ok. You can go into passcode lock in settings->general and disable it. But note, the only way to disable this is if the policies are no longer enforced.
