Does anyone have any idea whether it will be possible to use the iPhone as a wireless touch controller (midi cc programmable) with Logic, through the use of an iPhone application?

People will wonder why my phone is velco-backed.

I would love to hear from someone who knows about these matters about whether this is possible or likely. thanks-jay

There was one made for Pro-Tools (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/iphone/proremote-pro-tools-controller-may-be-coolest-iphone-app-ever-updated-332324.php), so I assume one could easily be made for Logic as well. And many other things (I'm in the lighting business and would love to control my console with my iPhone!).

Wow - I had this thought earlier today, but I didn't think there would be enough people interested. I'm definitely interested in anything that could control my Martin Maxxyz lighting console or Yamaha LS9 audio console.

Are these things midi controlled? Then it would take at least some sort of wifi-to-midi bridging adapter to make this possible.
