Hi everyone,
I was looking into waiting to buy an Ipod Touch sometime in September, in case of a refresh. However, I am in desperate need of a portable media player, so I plan on buying an Iphone and unlocking it, possibly using it on T-Mobile . So my options are to buy an old Iphone or the new Iphone 3G. I can get an unlocked 16gb Iphone 3G for about $500 from the UK via one of my friends. The old Iphone is around the same price on Craigslist.
:( The only thing stopping me is the possible lack of warranty. Would it be possible to buy Applecare Protection in the US and apply it so I could get global coverage? I tried searching up on it but my search terms must be pretty poor because I got a few good hits but mostly on the Ipod Touch.
