I just read this thread on Apple Insider, a german publisher announced they will switch all 12,000 employees over to mix of iMacs, Mini's etc over the next two years.

My one thought is I bet they wouldn't do this if the mini were about to be discontinued. My hope for a new mini lives on.

That's what I was thinking also. If you commit to 12,000 computers, I'm sure they did some homework. The mini isn't a very good value at the moment, and I think a large percentage of those 12,000 will be the mini.
Maybe they got a preview of what the new one will be.

I certainly wouldn't commit to 12,000 units over two years without a product roadmap presentation from the vendor!

They don't give any indication of the ratio of iMac's to mini's. So it not known if a significant number will be mini's.

Nike HQ also recently dumped their Windows boxes for Macs. My friend is working on the switchover.
