I have recently bought an AEBS pending my Broadband connection next week. I have set it up with my PowerBook and everything is good (they see each other and I can print remotely).
My girlfriend has a desktop PC in another room - rather than run cables under bumpy carpets I bought her a D-link 510 wireless PCI card so she can connect to the AEBS and so have internet access and use my printer.
Internet not yet connected but I canNOT make the PC see the AEBS. I have tried swichting off the 'distribute IP addresses', I have tried with and without encryption, with and without 'equivalent key', with and without the extra '$' symbol.
I know the sugnal from the AEBS is strong enough I just can't make them talk.
I know it must be very common but ANY advice or pointers would be GREATLY appreciated and GRATEFULLY received.
