What is Rock Band 2 bringing to the table?

This soundtrack looks amazing!!! Too many good songs. I just dont feel justified paying for the game I know I will only play for a few months and get sick of unless I can get people over to play it with me.

What is Rock Band 2 bringing to the table?

Other than a sweet songlist....Probably some more RockBand-Exclusive controllers/hardware, designed soley to not be compatible with anything Guitar Hero.

Setlist looks awesome! But honestly, I'd rather get a half priced RB1 is RB 2 doesn't bring much more to the table this time around.

Can rock band be played with just the Guitar Hero(Wii) guitar? If not, any possiblity with RB2?

Painkiller from Judas Priest ? my pity to those holding the mic

that said .. i simply find too much filler on the track list .. for every 1 fantastic song there are 3 "ok" songs and 2 "great band, but why that song ?" songs

mann they got some AWESOME songs on there!
now I have to figure out what to do with my RB1 drum set...
That's the thing that really annoys me.
In a few months I'll have a drum set for RB1, RB2, and Guitar Hero 4... and then Konami is coming out with a rock type game (which I'm sure will have some songs I "must" have)...
I really hope one company makes a drum set that can be "hacked" to work with them all. The whole, guitar thing is enough.
I got guitars, a drum set, 4 wii wheels, the ps3 driving wheel thing, 2 wii gun things, a ton of controllers laying around... its ugly.

but I digress. I can't wait for the next rock band!

or not

As far as I remember, guitar hero is the game that only works with it's own controllers. You can plug any guitar into rock band and it will work. Who's fault is it? I always thought it was gh's. Maybe I'm wrong. I've always seen RB as the more open platform.

As far as drumbs go though, the new elite drumset will be awesome. You'll be able to use it as an actual drum machine in logic, fruity loops etc...

You are totally right. After posting I looked into my TV room and saw my GHIII controller plugged into my RockBand setup. haha

I take it that would be Axl and a whole different band? Anybody hear Sebastion Bach's new solo album? There are 3 songs with Axl!

It's the New Guns N' Roses. All new band members except for Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed. Ironically the new version of the band have been together longer than the original.

Sebastion Bach's Angel Down album is great. I love that guy's voice. The fact that Axl is on it too make it just that much better!

have you seen the rumoured GH world tour set list ? (said to be the same source as last years leaked GH3 leaked list which turned out to be true)

compared to that list this list is forgettable
