I was just curious, what people thought would be available once the Dev Team releases Pwnage. New apps? More features?

TETHERING PLEASE!
That is the only thing this phone is missing to me! That and about 20% of it's battery life!

you will also find you can get apps which the appstore charge for, for free in installer :)

Could be a bit of both. If you're planning on using Bluetooth...I think you're SOL.

Are the apps already available, or will they start to pop-up once the unlock is made public?

Can't tell. Probably going to be a bit of both. All depends on whether the dev has the app updated and uploaded to a source.

There's already quite a few apps available out there; we are just waiting on the 2.0 jailbreak to be released, opening up the phone to all the existing apps that are already out there.

Depends on if they had their app broken by the 2.0 update or not. Many won't know until today if the jailbreak is released and they didn't use the SDK.

Exactly.
For me, just two simple things:
- Tethering
- VOIP over 3G.

A whole new warez scene, lol.
But more importantly, unsigned sdk applications! Woo

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a hardware counter to tethering because of the legacy iPhone. That would make it hard to distribute.
So far Windows Mobile is the best tetherer through WiFi. That's an option.
Windows Mobile devices can tether via WiFi with an app (WMWiFiRouter) that makes the phone a "mobile hotspot" and you can even put WEP, WPA on it, etc. or just leave it open for the public. But Windows has this thing called "Internet Connection Sharing" built into the OS. The funny thing about this is that you don't even need a tethering plan because it just uses the data plan. heh
