Final cut pro 6 - freeze during playback

I'm using FCP 6 and when I cut out individual clips from the same source clip and put them on the timeline I get a short freeze at the end of each clip. The source video is fine when I watch it on the viewer window and it only happens with this one particular source video. Other cilps I've used on my timeline work fine. Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix this?:confused: Thankss!! :)

Is the SNAP feature switched on?
