What happened to twitter ?
The original allowed you to find folks within X miles of your location and read their tweets and reply.
Living in London, I could read / reply to tweets from folks that were all over the world.
The app store twitterific, which I assume is the original twitter update, shows your tweets only and comes as a free version or $9.99 to lose the advertisements and an extra theme .. am I missing an option to turn something on !?

Twitterific should be showing all Twitters (yours, friends, replies) condensed onto one page. That's what it does for me. There's another Twitter app too. It's called Twittelator, it gives you more viewing options and there are no ads.
