Can I buy an iPhone 3G in the US without a contract?
How much does it cost?
Since I'll be living for 6 months in the US and then back to Europe: will I be able to use the iPhone 3G with an European SIM?

Not yet, AT&T and Apple will sell a phone without contract soon
Pricing, i believe is 499 and 599
you will need to unlock it for the european sim to work
