App for Dining

I travel a lot and it would be good to have an App that can show me the local restaurants in the area based on my location based by cuisine with reviews. Is there a good app available?

try Yelp. Free, and easy to use.

Urbanspoon is really cool, but looks like it might be kind of limited in the cities it covers at the moment. I assume that will improve with time. It's free also.

You can also do this in google maps. Been there since the beginning and works pretty well. Urbanspoon is good if you don't know what your in the mood for. I have not tried yelp yet.


Also, I think WHERE does this too, however I have not used that app too much, and a lot of people are having trouble with it.

There's nothing unfortunate about YPmobile being the only app of this kind - it's awesome and free. Millions of local listings, and you can reorder by Popularity, which I love. Add that to the local events and the ability to create and share plans ... and you've got an insanely powerful app.

Did I mention that it's free?
