How do I delete apps?

Got a new iphone and tried the NY times but want to delete it. How do I do this? I downloaded it directly onto my iphone

just hold ur finger down on any icon so that they all began jiggling. Then there will be an X on the top left corner of each downloaded icon. All you have to do is touch the X and say OK when it asks you to delete.

You may also need to remove it (app you want to delete) from your itunes apps list otherwise next resync it will reload them back on ! Or asier is sync your iphone up and then whilst in the cradle goto your apps list and delete it from there (within itunes). Then resync job done !
