After 3 hours of frustration with mobile me, I believe i can give you some kind of answer.
Mobile me.com DOES NOT EQUAL what is in the cloud
Everything i do on MM is pushed to my touch, anything on my touch will update on MM if im lucky at all.
MM.com is pulling old info from the cloud and that is probably due to immense traffic/other problems. I'm making no sense at all probably because its almost 1am, but I can update this in the morning to clarify more
