Not Charging

hey guys I have macbook santa Rose i think it may be called i got it right before the update. But today i ran into a problem the power light that is usally green was very dim, where it usually says x amount of huours until charged, it said NOT CHARGING. it would work while plugged in, but it didnt charge. Is this something that i should take the mac in to get fixed? or is this even a problem that can be fixed it seems to be working right now. but i didnt want to to be a everyday problem thanks for your help

Try resetting SMC:

and PRAM:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379

if you still haven't. Also try unplugging the charger from the power outlet and leave it disconnected for a minute and then try again.
If it doesn't work and you are stil under warranty take it back to repair. It may just be the charger but you never know.
