Contacts not syncing with Exchange

I have Exchange set up on my iphone. I just deleted several contacts through Outlook (Exchange) but they still exist on the phone. Shouldn't they be deleted there also?

They should, once synchronization occurs. If they're not disappearing quickly, it's possible that your Exchange Direct Push is not working correctly.

What seems to happens is when I delete a contact in Outlook the name remains on the phone but all of the information about the contact is gone. Strange. . . . :rolleyes:
