difference between black/white topcase/keyboard

I had a bit of a spill and now my white macbook keyboard is acting a little funky (no space, tab, delete, left arrow...). I'm going to get a new topcase for it but was thinking i would get a black one. Anyone know if this could pose any problems? Is there ANY difference other than color and, style critiques aside, any reason why i should not?

No difference other than colour. The only thing to watch out for is whether you have a Core Duo, a Core 2 Duo or a Santa Rosa machine - MacBook 1,1 2,1 and 3,1 and to get the correct replacement because there are differences.

Which MacBook do you have ?
