*Warning* Newbie here.

I have a DP 800 machine, purchased 2-3 yrs ago. My question is how many internal disk drives can I add?

Presumably you mean hard disk drives? The easiest way to tell is simply to open the case and see how many empty bays there are.

EveryMac.com (http://www.everymac.com) is a good place for finding out this type of information.

According to them, you can fit a total of three 3.5" drives in the case (including the front Zip drive bay). The internal controller uses ATA/66 for the hard drives and most likely ATA/33 for the Zip and CD drives.
