Ran across this nice little web application....does not need any jailbreaking...Its called "file2phone"....OMFG....I can access all of my files...I can turn on my webcam from my iPhone and watch what is going on in my house from my webcam to my iphone....i can access all of my files....that means I can watch all of my movies and not worry about space on my iphone seeing how I have a 8giger and can only hold about 7 to 9 movies....I can even view my computers screen and control it from my iphone and view any file...I mean there is sooooo much stuff you can do with this one little web app...and there is no way that Jobs will allow this in the app store...and the best thing is that you dont have to hack (jailbreak) your phone to use it because it is a web app....Imagine.....endless memory for you iphone because you can access your computer at home....I know Orb is doing this but this message is more for the non jailbreaking community....have fun here is the link....

No I don't own this website....kinda new to this forum...I am actually an airline pilot and I have been looking for a program that I can access my stuff while I am on the road....this one seems to do the best...I can only bring so many movies with me and music....but it is nice to be able to get my stuff when ever I need to...sorry didnt mean to sound like the "orange clean guy" but just was trying to pass on some good stuff that I found...I use this website a lot look for new stuff for my phone....Like I am still looking for a good pilot logbook...none is sight....but really check this one out....really cool..hope this clears some things up

Hence my log in name "Past V1" V1 = a speed of which a pilot need to determine either to abort and takeoff or continue....now if I worked for this company would I know something as dorky as that!!! LOL!!!

Wow, they let people with punctuation like that fly planes? With people in them?

Only kidding, there is a very good app in the Appstore called Mocha VNC which lets you do a similar thing. Had it working over my network last night just need to figure out how to set it up remotely.

...I am actually an airline pilot and I have been looking for a program that I can access my stuff while I am on the road....If you are a pilot and find yourself 'on the road', I'd say you have other things to worry about ...:eek::eek: :D

Guys,

There is a VNC client available from the app store now. Mocha VNC lite.

It is a bit rudimentary for a v1. but it should let you see if you like to have it on your PC at home.

Obviously you need to install something like VINE on your PC as the server and take care when exposing to internet as VNC aint the most secure system in the world.

Hope this helps
Ken.

Search "Telekinesis" and wonder where you've been for nearly a year.

EDIT: Ha! ..and this "myf2p" costs $8.33 a month with a 12 month license purchase. Funny, all these companies attempting to capitalize on iPhone noobs.
