So, I got all excited because I found this cool tool (http://www.wcities.com/)that will let you download city guides and maps right onto your iPod. I thought it was the best idea ever, and I couldn't wait to download it, then I find out...

... it's not Mac compatible.

Now, normally, this isn't something that surprises me. I use a Mac, I like it, I accept that some fringe applications (and a few mainstream ones) don't have a Mac version. But this is just stupid! Why design a program for an Apple product and have it not be Mac compatible?!?

You have to ask the person who wrote the program, only they would know.

Not everyone who develops tools for iPhone or iPod also develops for Macs or other PCs. Some choose to limit their work to fewer devices.
