What can the iPhone do that the Touch cannot do, besides phone and camera support?

GPS, microphone, and external volume control.

Otherwise they are basically the same.

bluetooth, expensive data plan, thicker body

GPS.
Speaker.
Mic.
Phone apps.
Volume Buttons.
Cell Phone radio(s).
Better Google Maps location finding.
Camera, Camera app.
Bluetooth.

Thicker body.
Black or white back options.
Slightly longer.
Cheaper to buy, more expensive to keep.

An easier question would have been "How are the iPhone and the Touch similar?"
