MacBook Problems

Hey guys/gals,

Recently I have had programs crash alot on me Safari, QuickTime and then Flash stopped working but I think I can get that to work by deleting and reinstalling. And lastly I can't empty the Trash without going to Terminal and using the command line and it is getting tedious now.

I can't think of why this has started happening so maybe someone might be able to give me some insight.

I remember that I recently installed SafariBlock disabling it has stopped the crashes but I have now found I can't type into the search boxes in Finder how the hell do I get rid of this or should I create another user account and transfer everything over then delete my current account?
