Charging jawbone from 3G car charger?

Hello, i was wondering if it is possible, and safe to, charge my jawbone 2 from my Griffin PowerJolt car charger. since both use usb connections i know it will plug in, but i wanted to see if it is safe to do so, say if i am on a long trip? please let me know, thanks!

I have had my jawbone for over a year, that is how I charge it. USB to the griffin cigarette adapter.....works just fine

Its a excellent headset. Durability is good, good value, good comfort. I would like to recomend Jawbone to include car charger. I had to purchase one separately. Bought one from here-
