In Advertising Age's December 15, 2003 edition, it named Apple the 2003 Marketer of the year. Here is a link to the online article.

Apple truly does have an effective advertising campaign. I think that they have done their work, as the iPods have infiltrated the market enough that people know what they are, though I still hear people calling them "those iMAC mp3 things"
