iTunes for Win2000 can't see CD

I am putting an audio cd into my cd-rom drive and itunes isn't recognizing it. It works with Windows Media player, just not itunes.

I'm using an Afreey CD-rom (serial 2050E) which is pretty old.

Any advice??
