Final Cut Express 4 Audio Rendering

Hello!

New to this site ... New to Final Cut ... Needed some help with the audio.

I have put together all my videos .. to create a music video. I rendered the mp3 file in my A1 column. When it plays .. it plays in Mono and not in stereo.
Can you guys tell me what I did wrong?

You shouldn't use MP3s in FCE/FCP. Use QT Pro or iTunes to convert the MP3 file to AIFF, 48khz, 16 bit, stereo.

Because you converted the rendered mono version. To get back to a stereo file, you'll need to use the original MP3 files and convert them.
