AT&T store? Mid-August at the earliest. They have said they won't sell to the general public until all DF orders are done with... and if they're quoting up to "21 business days" for DF orders... it's going to be awhile.

And as soon as they get caught up with the AT&T DF order and get rid of the campers at the Apple stores in the U.S., there is the issue of 20+ other countries that have probably gotten no phones at all since the launch on the 11th.

Will prolly depend on your market and maybe even which model you're trying to buy. Based on the way things are looking now especially here in Jersey my guess is Monday, 9/1. DF orders at ATT are now looking at 21-28 days for delivery although I can't imagine those will continue to lengthen.
Hopefully before mid August, because Rogers only offers the $30/month for 6GB until August 31! 😱😀

What about last time? I finally decided that I'm gonna camp at apple store tomorrow. gonna get there at 6 am, I know I wont be the first in line, but I should be able to get a 16gb black...I hope.

I figured that the craze would have died down some, but I guessed wrong.

A 32GB will come out someday, but why on earth would it come out in August, one month after the 3G launch? Not only would you anger a lot of customers, you would get a flood of 16GB returns from those who want to upgrade.

A lot of people are wishing for a 32GB iphone...but it is not gonna happen anytime soon....Maybe next spring or summer...but not this year.
The price of the Iphone will not drop any lower than it already is...its $199 with 8GB...show me any other 3G phone that has 8 GB and is sell for less than $200? It does not exist. Now the 16 GB model is over priced at $299...it should have been $249...but then nobody would be buying the 8Gb if the 16 gb was only $50 more....but this would be fair pricing structure.
