pwnage is asking me to switch off my iphone during dfu mode but seeing as the screen is black i cant get it to switch of and doesnt matter how long i hold the power button in for.

My guess is try to use the forced off, not sure if it will work though. Hold both the Home and the power buttons untill it goes off. (usually 5- 7 seconds or something)
