Twinkle keeps on crashing!!!

I'm from UK if it matters.

I am on it for 10 seconds and it goes back to the home screen. My other apps work fine.

On the twinkle app where all the convos are going on i see that other people are crashing too.

Arghhh its annoying.

Yeah they've said it will be fixed in 1.1 - problem is that they say there is a 10 day turn around for updates to get online

That's good news I guess. I came here because it's driving me ****ing crazy. I loved twitter on my jailbroken phone, but it's not making me happy on the new 3g phone. I hope they get an update out there soon and fix this crap.

They said the problem is external to their application but they still need to handle exceptions better. My guess is that they have an unhanded exception that is being thrown due to the avatar issue. I hope Apple resolves the issue of allowing developers to move up emergency fixes more quickly as well.

Twitteriffic is also having issues. The problem is with amazon who apparently manages the avatars some how.

I downloaded it last night and it worked fine...same with this morning. When I went to work, it started to crash every time it tried to access my location. Maps found my location fine, so it's probably not our problem.
