2nd drive bay in QS800

I have a DP 800 with a combo drive. I reveived a dvd-rw for xmas. Is it feasable to install this in the lower dirve bay on my computer and still keep the combo drive? If so, is there anything I should know before doing that? After I get the drive installed, either this way or replacing the combo drive, I will have quite a few DVD burning questions since I am not able to get sufficient answers on regular websites I have visited that cater to PC users. Questions like, how to copy a DVD movie and things like that. I am assuming that would be an easier task if I were able to keep my combo drive, correct? Thanks in advance.

I would recommend just getting a firewire enclosure and use that. That way, when you get a better powermac, the drive can easily be used again.
