Well - the title says it all, really....

I've done a few searches through the net on this subject, but have not got anywhere.

I know this was featured in OS9, but it was discontinued in OSX.1.

So - has it been reinstated? Can I set up a SOFTWARE Base Station on my Mac Cube with an Airport Card using X.3?

Enquiring minds want to know...

:)

Sorry Arn -

I don't suppose you could put this thread in the APPROPRIATE area...

"General Apple and Tech Discussion"

Thanks, mate!

Yes, you can do the software basestation with 10.3. The feature was reinstated with 10.2. Just go to the Sharing preference pane, and select the Internet tab. There is an option to share connection over airport.

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up.

Gawd - now I feel like a klutz for not noticing it sooner...
