Hi all,
our main boot hard drive is not working properly — sluggish, takes a million years to do one tiny click, etc. Disc repair not working on it. Sadly, it's the startup disc and has all our software / programs on it for our design studio.

Is there a way to move all those Applications to drive B? If we have to reinstall all the software, it's going to take so long that we may as well buy another computer (FINALLY!) and reinstall all the software on the new computer. (All the work is already backed up to a 1TB drive —*we've done that much at least).

Any recommendations? Is there a way to reinstall the system onto our main boot drive without deleting all the apps?

My advise is to purchase Alsoft's DiskWarrior. Get it shipped overnight. Boot from the CD and run repair on the disk. It should find and correct the problems that Disk Utility can not.
