Help - Downloaded Apps not loading and returning to home screen

Before everyone flames - I did the search and yes I have seen the previous threads where people are told to resync or reload the Apps.

I can't do that, I'm nowhere near my PC/Itunes. I tried to reboot but get the same problem. All native apps are fine (Safari/Youtube/Etc) but all the free apps downloaded don't load.

If anyone knows a way to try to correct this without itunes (and yes, I have rebooted - same problem) I'd appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Not to bump my own thread - but might be able to help someone else out.

I downloaded another free app (Spinner) for the heck of it just to see if the new app would work....And not only did the new app work, ALL THE OTHER apps started working...Phew. Not sure what it triggered, but everything is working smoothly now since downloading a new app.
